Welcome to the elegant eclectic
The Elegant Eclectic was largely birthed out of my daughters wedding several years ago after being very unexpectedly approached by her wedding venue with the idea. Apparantly, future brides saw my daughter’s wedding pictures on the venue’s Instagram page and inquired how they might get this look for themselves! Now that was a crazy humbling compliment for me but was the start of the perfect business endeavor for me to pursue!
Honestly, looking back, as a Mother-of-the Bride, I would’ve LOVED this option had it been available! We spent SIX months curating items and still had to have friends graciously scramble around town to find enough pieces just days before the big event as we had absolutely ZERO time to do this ourselves! Of course, EVERY piece had to be washed and then there was that small matter of how and where to store this ever-growing pile of dishes that were overtaking my basement! What was my sane (obviously insane) brain thinking?!
But it wasn’t over yet – we still had to get this mammoth collection TO the venue, not just set up and looking pretty (you know, the fun part, right?!). Afterwards, friends & family, who should’ve still been enjoying themselves at the reception, were instead gathering and crating up dirty dishes, only to return them to my house where my exhausted-just-got-done-with-a-wedding self had to now wash and pack up this enormous collection of glassware! Whew! If I hadn’t been approached with this rental idea AND had a storage facility to keep them, I then would’ve had to spend who knows how much time trying to hopefully re-sell these on FaceBook Markektplace and probably only recoup a portion of what we paid.
Since that time, I have enjoyed being able to foster both my creative and organizational skills to help others avoid all that work we had to endure for my daughters wedding, freeing them up to attend to the miriad of other wedding details while still having that picture-worthy reception they desired!

~Add-on rentals for serving ware such as serving utensils, platters, serving bowls, cake stands, even punch bowls
~Tea party rentals for bridal parties, ladies teas, or any fun tea party you desire, including tea cups, saucers, dessert plates, tea pots, sugars, creamers, even tea ball infusers
~Table-top decor rentals such as vases in various colors and sizes plus a large assortment of glass and metal candlesticks and votives
~Linen rentals including various sizes and colors of table cloths, runners, linen napkins and even some chair sashes
~Special requests accepted if you need something beyond what we have available. I am always happy to curate items for you if possible!
~Wedding planners and DIYers alike are welcome to come out to my storeroom to view inventory and do table mock-ups in advance, if desired
